It’s been a year. After such a long time, I actually felt like drawing again. I warmed up a bit and then just drew whatever came to mind. I think I had similar thoughts when I last posted drawings, but lately I’ve been trying to draw brighter pictures. Especially the last two pieces — I intentionally used bright, saturated colors, and even then I wasn’t satisfied, so I went into Lightroom and adjusted the brightness and color with the same sensibility I use for photo editing.

I mixed some of my earlier drawings to create SNS banners. I made two images, one for GitHub and one for Pinterest, and also produced additional images for use on Reddit, Twitter, and other platforms.

The first banner in particular reuses drawings from Digital Drawing #4 and Digital Drawing #5. It’s unclear whether I’ll be active on SNS going forward, but I’m preparing these just in case I need to promote something on Reddit or elsewhere and want to make a good impression.
