I was originally someone who took photos casually in middle and high school to leave records then and there. I’m someone who liked the act of taking photos itself without resistance. But during COVID, I started enjoying IT communities and learned that there are people who take genuinely amazing photos even with phones. Looking at those photos, I thought if I’m going to take photos anyway, I wanted to leave something more special, deeper, and more meaningful.

Then this year I switched phones from a Galaxy A5 2017 to a Galaxy S22 Ultra, and experienced a dramatic change. The quadrupled cameras supported OIS, the sensors got much larger, and even RAW output was supported — it was practically like getting a new camera. Naturally, I looked up theory to take better photos, browsed many others’ photos, and my greed grew, so I managed to create a few photos I wanted to keep. There are regrets like photos breaking while editing JPGs, but it felt new and fun, and discovering a new way to document myself was really great. I hope I can post many more great photos going forward.
